Rowing has a long and proud tradition in Winnipeg. Since 1881, athletes have been learning to row on the mighty Red River and competing at national and international levels. Today, the Winnipeg Rowing Club is the “big blue boathouse” located at 20 Lyndale Drive, where we offer programs for all ages and skill level.
And now in 2025, the Club has created a unique event space where everyone is welcome to enjoy the view of the Red River. Whether you are celebrating your marriage, a special birthday or honouring an individual who is retiring, this space can meet your needs.
